Well hello there. I said that I would be back and I am back. Coming right back at you from our hotel in Jane, Missouri. I am happy to say that the lovely couple Mike and Mary Ann became husband and wife today. It was a beautiful ceremony and I as honored to have been invited.
After a long day of driving through all three states that we have been through it was awesome to relax In The hotel for a few hours before the wedding. We found the hotel fine and we found the chapel fine too. It was a gorgeous place to have a wedding.
We got there and immediately saw Mike. I was so excited to see him. He seemed nervous. Of course the groom is going to be a little nervous but the cool thing is that he was marrying his best friend. Mike married Mary Ann today and I am so happy that Khelsea and I could go to this gorgeous wedding ceremony. Got to see our friend Daniel and met his awesome mother. That was awesome.
And the reception was out in the woods. A really beautiful place once we got there but thanks to my phone being stupid and me not liking the way that the dirt road looked we missed the road and drove way too far. I totally take responsibility for that. Sorry Khelsea. But we did get to see some really pretty scenery while I wasn't sheilding my eyes from fear that I was going to meet my maker today. At least we didn't meet our maker today!
Shout out to the awesome bride and groom for the amazing taco truck that catered the reception. That was a great touch and I personally love tacos. Tacos are amazing. And the cake was awesome. Beautiful.
I am so excited for Mike and Mary Ann to see their wedding present from me. I have been working on it for a year and it excites me to see if they like it or not. Still not going to say what it is exactly but I hope they love it. Yay!
I heard that they have been saving up for this wedding for three years. It was beautiful. Out of this world.
The reception had a costume contest. I dressed up like Muriel from Courage the Cowardly dog show and I had a great time with my white hair. And surprisingly I ended up winning an award for most creative costume. I was not expecting to win anything but I am taking my trophy home with me to scare my mother. Excitement.
So we are back in the hotel now. Thinking about hitting the hay. Gotta get up earlyish to get home. Gotta work on Halloween and I am excited to be there.
Goodnight, God Bless, and remember to expect the unexpected!
Love Always,
Dayna H.
P.s. I will write more soon. I've been having a great time talking to y'all again. This is the only place I seem to be able to be myself. Okay maybe not quite the only place but it's been fun. Ttyl bfn
